Seaforth Sportfishing
Description
During the winter and spring months, the California Gray Whales make their lengthy migration from the Bering Sea in Alaska to the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. The close proximity of this migration along the San Diego coastline affords us the excellent opportunity to view these majestic mammals in their natural environment.
For the past 35 years, Seaforth Landing has offered daily whale watching excursions from January through mid-March. Depending on the time of year these trips last two to three hours. All of our trips are thoroughly narrated by our well-trained captains and crew. They will take you along the San Diego coastline looking for these great animals, providing a great view of our beaches and cities.Along with Gray Whales, our local waters are also frequented by dolphins, sea lions, blue whales, and even the occasional orca.
